Many of you have a Facebook page, so when you purchase a logo design you will probably want to upload your logo as a Facebook cover banner. But you can not just upload the logo in .PNG file as you received it from me. Facebook wants you to upload a banner with a colored background and not with a transparent background, and Facebook has a current preset size (in 2022) for their cover banner (820 x 360 pixels). The size of your logo file is totally different. So how do you create a fitting Facebook cover banner with your logo on it?

Start with creating a blank canvas in the exact size of a Facebook cover banner:
• open Adobe Photoshop and click on 'File'
• select option 'create new file'
• now create a white canvas in size 820 x 360 pixels and with a resolution of 300 dpi (recommended size of a FB Cover in 2022)
• the background for your Facebook banner has now been created
How to add your logo to the banner:
• select 'File' again
• and choose option 'insert' (right beneath option 'Search in Adobe Stock)
• this will give you the option to upload your logo image into the design
How to adjust the size of your logo on the banner:
• if you are not happy with the size in which the logo appears on the banner you can adjust the size
• go to the percentage numbers of the width and height of the logo on top of the screen
• enlarge the logo or make it smaller by adjusting the percentage numbers
• once you are satisfied with the size of the logo you can drag it to any position on the banner
• then save the banner by selecting 'File' and then 'Save as'
• make sure to save as a JPEG file - your banner is now ready to upload to Facebook
